For my Text as Data final project, I used topic modeling (LDA) on 104 FTC consumer complaints from the agency’s Operation AI Comply to study how the FTC treats “AI-washing,” finding that AI-related cases group with broader deceptive-opportunity complaints.

For my Text as Data course, I used tools including stop words, tokenization, and TF-IDF to explore President Obama’s executive orders, with unigram analysis across the full set of EOs and bigram analysis focused on the orders from 2015.
